Final Running Back Big Board

This year, Detroit Lions Draft is happy to produce a consensus big board for each position.

These are collaborative ratings from founder/editor Jeff Risdon (@JeffRisdon) and lead scout Darren Page (@DarrenPage15).

Here is the final running back big board:

Some general notes:
In cases of ties, the player with the highest individual ranking wins.

The biggest divergence here was on Ka’Deem Carey of Arizona.

Several prospects were unranked by one or both of us; the primary reason is a lack of quantity of games viewed. All players must have at least three games studied in order to be rated.

Neither of us expects any running backs in the top 50 of the draft.

Carlos Hyde from Ohio State might be the biggest mover from preseason to now. For Risdon, he was the 14th RB in preseason ratings and was not considered a top 250 player. Now he is the clear #1 running back and will wind up ranking in the 60-75 overall range.

Lorenzo Taliaferro from Coastal Carolina can play a hybrid FB/RB role, which may increase his draft stock.
